The Washington State Ferries offer vehicle and passenger ferry service among several points along the Puget Sound, drastically reducing commute times for thousands of residents who live on west side of the Sound but work in the Seattle metropolitan area. The WSF's 29 vessels serve 20 terminals and 10 routes across 8 counties in the Puget Sound area.
