The building that houses The Harvard Exit was built in 1925 as a clubhouse for the [[Women's Century Club]], a group known for its cultural events and social activism. (You can still see the name above what is now the back door on Harvard Avenue.) The Harvard Exit is one of Landmark Theaters' "art house" movie theaters, located in Capitol Hill, just off Broadway on Roy St. It has two screens, a nice old-fashioned feel, and frequently shows independent or foreign films.
