Seattle Wiki

I think this page would be a great place to include information about Seattle's street-addressing system and a list some of the most commonly known neighborhoods.

Since getting around a city is one of the most important things, a single page with this information would be a good start for this wiki. --Don 19:43, 6 Jul 2004 (CDT)

Hey Don,
While I agree it might be a good idea to have an "intro to Seattle" page, I wouldn't necessarily want to duplicate a lot of the content that is already in Wikitravel:Seattle (see Navigating section) and Wikipedia:Street_layout_of_Seattle. I think it might be better to refer people to those sites for introductory info, history of Seattle, etc, while keeping this site more for people "living" in Seattle, with current events, resources for locals, issues, etc etc. But I agree that at least an intro page with these links would be useful.

A page of links would work very well too; in fact, that's what I had in mind, especially since it would likely end up being duplicated information we could link from elsewhere. I should've specified—sorry for the confusion! --Don 02:30, 10 Jul 2004 (CDT)
Well, not much has changed for a while. This is one of the oldest pages, and it's marked with the deletion stub. I don't think we should delete it, but I'm not sure what we can do with it. A list of links to online resources would be a good start. Chadlupkes 12:45, 9 Dec 2005 (PST)
