NICA (NW Intentional Communities Association) connects people interested in Intentional Community across the NW (including Seattle). Since it was founded in the Seattle area, a number of Seattle-area intentional communities have been very active in the organization.
Historically, NICA has been more connected to the larger intentional communities in the area, such as the many Seattle-area Cohousing Projects. To date, only a few of the many Seattle Cooperative houses have engaged with this organization. List of cooperative residences
