The Internet is very popular in Seattle.
Broadband (high-speed) access[]
There are not many commercial broadband ISPs in Seattle. If you have cable television, chances are your cable provider provides high-speed cable modem access.
There's also DSL service available either through Qwest or other providers such as SpeakEasy.
Another option is to forgo the whole ISP idea and use wireless access.
Free access[]
- The Seattle Community Network offers free dial-up internet access.
- Any Seattle public library offers free Internet access, although a library card and reservations may be required.
