Harbor Island

Harbor Island is an artificial island at the mouth of the Duwamish River.

As its name suggests it is very well a harbor, housing numerous cranes where container ships come to unload. Its seaport facilities are run by the Port of Seattle.

Harbor Island is the largest artificial island in the United States.
