Boeing is an aircraft manufacturer founded here at Seattle. Originally, it was a manufacturer of boats. You can still see the original plane plant at the Museum of Flight
They soon grew to be the Unites States' largest aircraft manufacturing company and the largest industry in Seattle.
Its headquarters were at Boeing Field but in 2001, they moved to Chicago leaving only several manufacturing plants.
